🌹How to Grow Red Climber Rose

• Small Plant for Sale:

Standing at approximately 1 1/2 ft tall and housed in a nursery bag, this option is perfect for those looking to nurture and grow their plant over time.

• Bushy Plant with Buds for Sale:

Arriving in a nursery pot, this variant already features flower buds. It's the perfect pick for those eager to enjoy immediate blooms.

💥 Light Requirement and Temperature:

Red climber rose plant thrives best in full sun but can tolerate partial shade. A minimum of 6-8 hours of direct sunlight is optimal. The red climber rose thrives best between 15°C to 30°C. Depending on the sunlight intensity in your region.

🌞 Optimal Sunlight for Blooming:

Sunlight is the lifeline of your red climber Rose. Limited sunlight can hinder its blooming capabilities. To witness the full glory of its blooms, make sure it's exposed to at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. If it's indoors or shaded, relocate for maximum sun exposure.

💧Watering:

Water moderately, allowing the soil to dry slightly between watering sessions to prevent root rot.

🪴 Soil:

Prefers well-drained, fertile soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH range (6.0 - 7.0).

🍂 Fertilisation:

As new growth begins, apply a balanced organic fertilizer to give the plant a good start for the growing season. Reapply to encourage more blooms and lush foliage.

• Organic Bone Meal:

Apply at the beginning of the growing season. High in phosphorous, it promotes strong root development and aids in producing vibrant blooms. Mix into the top layer of soil near the base of the plant, avoiding direct contact with the stem.

• Organic Seaweed Extract:

Rich in micronutrients, it encourages robust growth and stress tolerance. If you are using sea weed granules, apply 5-10 pellets near the plant root, every 2-4 weeks. If you are using sea weed extract liquid, use it as a foliar spray or you can pour it near the root.

• Organic Cow Dung Manure:

Cow dung is a rich source of organic material and is used widely as a fertiliser in agriculture and gardening. It is not only abundant in macro-nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium (often abbreviated as N-P-K), but also contains various essential micro-nutrients that benefit plant growth.

✂️ Pruning:

Pruning your red climber rose plant helps it grow better and bloom more. It's best to trim it a bit during late winter or early spring. Cut off any dead or sick branches to help the plant grow new, healthy ones. Also, remove old flowers to help new ones come in.

🪴 Ideal Planter/Pot:

• Initial Potting

For a young plant, start with a pot or grow bag that is at least 12x12 inches. This provides adequate room for root growth without overwhelming the plant.

• Re-potting:

As the plant matures, you may need to re-pot into a larger container, generally one that is 2-4 inches larger in diameter than the current one. A mature red creeper/climbing rose plant may eventually require a pot/grow bag that is 18x18 inches or 24x24 inches, depending on its growth rate and overall health.

Given that this is a climbing rose, adding a mini-trellis or some form of support within or around the pot can be beneficial for guiding its growth.
